Dear Parents,
This morning students and staff at E. J. Arthur Elementary School went into a shelter-in-place due to a malfunction with our elevator. During this time, classrooms functioned as normal while students were asked to stay within their classroom setting.
I want to thank C-A Facilities, Athens Police and Athens Volunteer Fire Company for all their assistance. I would also like to commend our staff and students on a fine job during this shelter-in-place.
