My name is Mr. DeLuca. Welcome to my class. This is my 15th year teaching. Most of those years have been right here at EJA, but I have also taught in Schenectady NY, North Carolina, as well as Las Vegas, Nevada. I was born and raised in Burnt Hills, NY but now live in Ghent with my wife and 2 wonderful daughters.

I attended The College of Saint Rose and graduated with a bachlors degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in Literacy.

When I'm not in school there are so many things that I enjoy doing. My first passion is spending time with my family. I love taking my daughters out to explore the woods and trails around our neighborhood.

I am also a competitive triathlete, competing in races all over the region from short sprint triathlons up to iron-distance races. Hiking and backpacking are two other activities that keep me very busy year round.
