My name is Kate Bayer. This is my 24th year teaching. I have had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten, first grade and second grade in both New York and North Carolina.

I love teaching! I enjoy helping the children grow and learn. It's amazing to see the growth that they make in a single school year!

I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from SUNY Cortland. I am certified as an Elementary School Teacher N-6 and as a Reading Teacher.

I have always wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember! When I was a little girl, I played school and passed out papers to my imaginary students!

I am married and I have a wonderful son. I love spending time with my family. We enjoy being outside, taking trips, and reading together.
