How to add a background:

Here's how you add abackground image to a page. If you are a user who has the authority, you canadd an image to a Channel Homepage or to any page within a section.

1.     In Site Manager, navigate to the locationof the page on which you wish to insert a background image.

2.     To theright of the page name, click Actions andselect Page Options from the list. The Page options window opens and displaysthe Background Image tab.

3.     Click Select an Image. Locate, select and uploadyour image.

4.     In thePage Options dialog, click Select an Image to upload a background image foryour page. The image will appear behind your app content.

5.     Positionthe image on the page by clicking a location box below Background ImagePositioning. By default, the box is centered.

6.     Alternatively,you can tile the image by activating the Tile Background Image check box.

7.     Click Save. You are returned to the Summary tab.

How to add a page to a section:

Here's how you add a Pageto a Section.

1.     Navigateto the Section Workspace. The Summary tabdisplays.

2.     Click New Page.  The Available Page Types windowdisplays.

3.     Click ona Page Type from thelist. The Add "PageName" Page window displays.

4.     Assign a Page Name for this page.

5.     Click Save. The Summary tabdisplays with the new page appearing at the bottom of the list of pages

How to add add apps to a page:

Here's how you add Apps toa Page.

1.     Navigateto a Workspace.

2.     Clickthe Actions button to the right of a page.  A drop-down listdisplays.

3.     Click Edit Page. The Page displaysin design mode.

4.     Click Manage Apps & Layout under Actions heading. The Page displays in edit mode.

5.     Click Add App. The Available Apps window displays.

6.     To add anew App...

a.     Click oneither the App icon or App name.  The AddApp window displays.

b.     Name the App (recommended).

c.     Click Save. The Page displaysin the design mode and the app displays at the bottom of the first column.

d.     Positionthe App by dragging and dropping it into the desired location.

e.     Repeatthese steps to add additional Apps.

 

7.     To add anexisting App that you locate by the page name... 

a.     Click on Select an Existing App. The By Page tab ofthe Add Existing App windowdisplays.

b.     Click thepage name. The Apps on thatpage displays.

c.     Click thecheck box to the left of the App.

d.     Click Save. The page layout displays in design modeand the app you added displays at the bottom of the first column.

e.     Positionyour App by dragging and dropping it into the desired location.

f.     Repeat these steps to add additional Apps.

 

8.     To add anexisting App that you locate by the App Type... 

a.     Click on Select an Existing App at thebottom of Available Apps window. The Add Existing Appswindowdisplays.

b.     Click By Type tab.

c.     Use the App Type drop-down menu or Search function to locate the App.

d.     Click thecheck box to the left of the App.

e.     Click Save. The page layout displays in designmode and the app you added displays at the bottom of the first column.

f.     Move your app as required by dragging and dropping it into thedesired location.

g.     Repeatthese steps to add additional Apps.

 

9.     Click I'm Done. The page layout displaysin design mode.

 

10.   Click theHouse icon to return to the page list on the Summary tab.

TIPS

·        You have access to all apps created in that workspace or any thathave been shared with you.

·        As you type in the Search Box, pages, apps and app types with thatcombination of letters display.

Sharing on Twitter

Here's how you add a Twitter Share app to a page.

  1. Click the Actions button to the right of the page. A drop-down list displays.

  2. Click Edit Page. The Page displays in design mode.

  3. Click Manage Apps & Layout under Actions heading. The Page displays in edit mode.

  4. Click Add App. The Available Apps window displays.

  5. Click either the Twitter Share App icon or App name. The Add App window displays.

  6. Click Save. The Page displays in the edit mode and the app displays at the bottom of the first column.

  7. Position the App by dragging and dropping it into the desired location.

  8. Click I'm Done. The page displays in design mode.

  9. The Twitter 'Tweet' icon appears on the page from the end-user website

Add a Facebook 'Like' App to a Page

Here's how you add the Facebook"Like" app to a page. The Facebook 'Like' app enables visitorsto your website to publish on their Facebook page that they liked the contentof your website.

1.     Click the Actions button to the rightof the page. A drop-down list displays.

2.     ClickEdit Page.The Page displays in design mode.

3.     Click ManageApps & Layoutunder Actions heading. The Page displays in editmode.

4.     Click AddApp.The Available Apps window displays.

5.     Click either the Facebook-like App icon or Appname. The Add App window displays.

6.     Click Save. The Page displays in the editmode and the app displays at the bottom of the first column.

7.     Position the App bydragging and dropping it into the desired location.

8.     Click I'mDone.The page displays in the design mode.

9.     The Facebook 'Like' App appears on thepage from the end-user website

Tip: An available option of the App isto display Facebook photos of the users who have 'liked' your page.

Files and Folders:

Access Files & Folders

Each SiteSubsiteChannel and Section workspace has accessto its own Files & Folders where documents andimages can be uploaded and stored. To access Files& Folders:

1.     Navigate to the relevantWorkspace.

2.     There are two (2)ways to access Files & Folders:

3.     Option1:

a.     Click the Tools tab. A menu of toolsdisplays.

b.     Click Files& Folders.The Files and Folders window displays.

c.     Manage folders andupload items as desired.

4.     Option2:

a.     Click Files& Folders underCommon Tools dashboard (not in Channel workspace).The Files & Folders window displays.

b.     Manage folders andupload items as desired.  

Access Subfolder Properties in Files & Folders

Each SiteSubsiteChannel and Section Workspace has accessto its own Files & Folders where documents andimages can be uploaded and stored. To Access the Propertiesofa Subfolder in your Files& Folders:

1.     Navigate to therelevant Workspace.

2.     There are two (2)methods of accessing Files & Folders from the workspace.

3.     Option1.

a.     Click the Tools tab. A menu of toolsdisplays

b.     Click Files& Folders.The Files & Folders window displays.

c.     Click the relevant Subfolder. The Subfolder window displays

d.     Click FolderActions.A dropdown list displays.

e.     Select Properties. The FolderPropertieswindow displays.

f.      Click Close. The Subfolder displays.

4.     Option2.

a.     Click Files& Foldersunder the Common Tools dashboard (notpresent in Channel Workspace). The Files & Folders window displays.

b.     Click the relevant Subfolder.TheSubfolderwindow displays

c.     Click the FolderActions.A dropdown list displays.

d.     SelectProperties.The Folder Properties window displays.

e.     Click Close. The Subfolder displays.
