This budget is a $1,319,232 (3.80%) increase over the current year’s budget. The estimated overall tax levy is 2.93% which is below the allowable tax levy cap.

For next year the district will be adding from this year’s budget 2 paraprofessionals for special education and one clerical position. There will be no cuts to academic programs and services. This budget proposal preserves all sports and extra-curricular programs and maintains our historical small class sizes in all buildings.

Historically, the percentage voting Yes is 7% over the 60 year average. The total votes cast of 676 is the lowest turnout since 1989.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the budget process. We appreciate everyone who voted. Thank you to our board candidates for wanting to serve our school community.
