West Entrance Work Expected to Finish by the Start of School
Work at the West Entrance is still underway, but the project is expected to be completed by the start of school on September 8.
During the work, crews discovered an issue with water coming from the existing pipes. The affected water pipes needed to be replaced. Rest assured, this work will not delay the expected completion of the West Entrance.
Middle School Roof Repairs Complete
Repairs to the Middle School roof have been completed. While completing the work, crews identified some additional areas that will need attention in the future. Those repairs will be addressed during Phase 2 of the Capital Project.
Elementary School Playgrounds
Work on the elementary school playgrounds will continue into the school year. Unfortunately, some of the new playground equipment has been delayed and is not expected to arrive until after school begins.
Because of this, the elementary school playgrounds will remain closed during the first week of school. Once the playground work is complete, the district will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 21, 2026.
