boiler

New hot water boilers are up and running in our high school. Replacing old steam boilers is part of our energy performance project. As you can see from the image the boilers are much smaller then the old ones. These new boilers will allow us to provide improved consistent heating throughout the high school and "7th/8th grade wing."

Along with upgrading all lighting in the district to LED, the district anticipates savings of our energy bills to be over $102,000 annually.

This project, approved by voters in the 2018-19 school year, will generate an 18-year cumulative net benefit to the district of over $2.3 million.  This means no cost to the local taxpayers and an actual revenue stream after state aid is received.
