Coxsackie-Athens Schools have received approval for an Emergency Connectivity Fund federal grant via the FCC for over $743,000 for the purchase of mobile technology hardware. This grant will allow the district to continue to support our students and teachers learning and teaching anytime and anywhere.

This process started last July after Mr. Squier attended a meeting that had the FCC leaders there to answer questions about this grant that district had previously been told we were not eligible for. Mr. Squier was able to ascertain we were in fact eligible.  Mr. Palmer, Mrs. Copleston and Mrs. Lindeman completed the grant application to beat the summer deadline. A team effort to bring these funds to our schools.

"We are excited to earn this competitive grant." said Mr. Squier. "We know our students rely on school issued devices to complete school work outside the classroom and this will directly benefit every C-A student." He concluded, "I want to thank Ryan, Nicole and Leslie for their efforts in completing this federal grant. "
