Tonight voters approved the $34,710,768 budget proposal for the 2022-2023 school year.
Total YES votes equaled 615 (68%) and total NO votes were 290.
For next year the district will be adding from this year’s budget 5 paraprofessionals for special education, 1 counseling position and 1 seasonal grounds person. There will be no cuts to academic programs and services. This budget proposal preserves all sports and extra-curricular programs and maintains our historical small class sizes in all buildings.
Nicole Canning, Michael Donahue and Shelly West were elected to 3-year terms for the board of education. Tallies for the school board’s three open seats were:
