Seventh grade students worked in teams to create a proposal for improving their school.
They have a budget of $10,00 the district administration has committed to this project
They research for ideas by asking classmates. Students then draft a proposal that includes why it is needed and all costs associated with the idea. The teams present their proposals to the entire student body who will vote to determine which idea is funded.
This work is aligned to our commitment for each student to complete one project that involves researching writing/designing, presenting and advocating.
