Last spring, EJA's current fourth grade students planted a three sisters garden consisting of corn, beans and squash.  This fall, our third students harvested the squash and asked Mrs. Ashby, EJA's cook, if she would prepare it for the third grade students to eat at lunch time. Today, Mrs. Ashby cooked and served the squash to our third grade students.  Mrs. Ashby is also using tomatoes grown in our garden in school salads.
