Dear CE families-
There is an error on the district calendar. The Open House on Wednesday is ONLY for kindergarten. This is not a building wide open house. Sorry for any confusion!

Please find the week ahead here: https://secure.smore.com/n/dcuy8h

We had our first character assembly today at CE! Our 4th grade students flexed their leadership skills by teaching their younger peers about our CE expectations: Be safe, be kind, take care of our school, and Be your best!

Please note that any student requiring medication in school will need a new order from their doctor stating the medication name, dosage, and time to be given, as well as parent permission forms signed. All prescription medications must be delivered to school in a labeled prescription box or bottle. Over the counter medications such as ibuprofen and tylenol, or topical creams, also require a doctor's order and parent permission form. They should be in an unopened box and must match the medication and strength ordered by the doctor. All medications must be delivered and signed for by an adult and may not be sent in with students.
All students must also have a copy of their most recent physical exam on file with the health office. It is good practice to have the doctor send a copy to the school or send one in with your student after each appointment. Communications will go out in the coming weeks about physical exam and immunization compliance."
Thank you!

A great big "THANK YOU!!!" to the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) who dropped off supplies for all kindergarten students today. We are so grateful for your support of our youngest learners at CE!
