The 7th grade team is honored to nominate Sophia Bink as Rotary Student of the Month. Sophia is a wonderful student to have class. She participates and enriches classroom discussions and activities. Her dependability and work ethic make her a true asset to the classroom.
One of Sophia's most commendable qualities is her kindness and empathy. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her classmates, offering a helping hand to those in need. Their ability to connect with others on a personal level has contributed significantly to the sense of community within our school. Sophia has even tried to learn a new language to make new students feel comfortable and part of the school community.
We are proud to have Sophia as a member of our school community, and we believe this recognition is well-deserved. Her dedication to her academics and compassion for others sets a high standard for her peers. Congratulations Sophia, this award is well deserved.
Congratulations to Ethan Ravenscroft for being named Rotary student of the month. Ethan is a very conscientious and engaged student in all of his classes and openly participates in class discussions. In our 10th grade global studies class he shows a strong understanding of both the global issues of today and an appetite for learning about the past. After school Ethan is a junior volunteer in the Athens fire department which demonstrates his willingness to devote his time and effort into his community. Ethan has an excellent work ethic and wants to help others where and whenever he can inside and outside of school.

C-A is holding a Deb Tator Memorial Raffle that includes over 20 baskets/items during the Capital Project Vote on Tuesday. Tickets will be available on the day of the raffle for $2/ticket, 3 tickets for $5 or 10 for $10.
All proceeds will go towards building an outdoor classroom/gathering space in memory of our friend, colleague and teacher.
