Our EJA Girls Running Club (lead by Ms. Gokey and Mrs. Pacuk) took some time off the track to spread a little holiday cheer! The girls spent the afternoon decorating cookies for our teachers and staff and they were lucky to learn royal icing techniques from Mrs. Pacuk, our resident baker extraordinaire.
Our Varsity Club did an amazing job and I want to recognize their efforts. We had a wonderful turnout and incredible results over the past two Saturdays. Our Santa’s Helpers did an outstanding job, raising nearly $1,400 for families in need. Because of their efforts, ten children from five different families in our district will be able to better enjoy the holiday season.

During our December half-day conferences, the D.R. Evarts Library once again hosted a fantastic enrichment program for EJA students.
The library offered three engaging stations: free play in the museum space featuring the popular new marker air sprayers, a creative foil-craft activity, and a colorful mitten-making project led by the Athens Cultural Center, many of which now brighten the library as festive decorations. Students also enjoyed healthy snacks and time spent reading together.

The first-ever Turkey Trot took off this week at Coxsackie Elementary!🦃
Students from Kindergarten through 4th grade raced around the field, and our 1st–5th place finishers earned special certificates for their hard work and determination. 🎉
The students had an absolute blast, and we’re so thankful for all of our amazing helpers!

The Interact Club is having their annual book sale TODAY, Saturday November 15, from 9AM-2PM in the HS cafeteria. This sale is to raise money for families in need in our area to buy them Holiday presents in December! We have a wide variety of genres, and even board games and dvds.
