Today we celebrate and recognize this year's class Valedictorian Jordane Hynes. Congratulations Jordane!
Jordane will be attending Mercyhurst University in the fall to study Forensics and Cyber Intelligence. Her future plans are to get her degree, be an amazing D1 rower, get her dream job, and hang out with her friends. The thing she will miss most about CA are the great teachers she has had.

CAFE is hosting a night out this Thursday, June 13, at the American House in Coxsackie located at 1 Reed Street. We will be having Shipwrecked cater the event and it is from 5:30 to 7:30pm. We are excited to announce this years Wall of Honor Inductees as well as the Theme for the 2024 Gala! Come join us if you are free. $25 at the door and we will have some food, and drinks will be available for purchase.


Today we recognize this year's class Salutatorian, John Kunz. Congratulations John!
John will be studying at Penn State University next year and majoring in Civil Engineering. He plans on getting a degree in civil engineering and work in site engineering / project management. The thing he will miss most about CA is all of the friends he has made along the way!

Top 3! Congratulations to Reese Taylor who is ranked number 3 in this year's class of 2024.
Reese will be attending the University of Vermont. She is planning on studying either environmental science or ecological landscape design in college and eventually is looking forward to starting a family. What she will miss most about CA is the track team and seeing her friends.

Natalie will be attending the University of Vermont and is studying Biology. Her future plans are to work in the Biology field. The people are what she will miss most about CA.


5th and 6th grade students who showed the most growth on their math and reading results between September and June had an opportunity to douse Dr. Mercer under the Splash Tower on Wednesday during recess. Some students did choose a "designated pitcher" or share their 3 pitches with a friend! Dr. Mercer was thoroughly soaked by the end of recess.

Today we recognize the number 5 ranked student in this year's class, Chiara Cenci! Congratulations Chiara!
Chiara is heading to attend SUNY Buffalo next year and will study Biology. Her future plans are to become a scientific researcher. She will miss the fun memories she made with her friends here at CA.


Number 6: We recognize our number 6 ranked student in the Class of 2024 Jack Bruno. Congratulations Jack!
Jack is heading to Georgetown University and his future plans are to eventually go to law school.


Today we honor the 7th ranked student in this year's class, Abigail Kennedy. Congratulations Abigail!
Abigail will be attending SUNY Brockport next year to study English with a concentration in literature to become a publisher. She will miss the fun memories she made with her friends here at CA.


Number 8: We recognize and honor the 8th ranked student in this year's class, Grace Hoglund. Congratulations Grace!
Grace will be attending SUNY New Paltz in the fall. Her future plans are to major in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Political Science. She will miss seeing her friends everyday here at CA along with visiting her favorite teachers everyday.


Number 9: We honor and congratulate the 9th ranked student in this year's class, Ella Hubert. Congratulations Ella!
Ella is heading to Hudson Valley Community College next year. Her future plans are to become a dental hygienist and help as many people as she can in life. She is going to miss the community aspect of CA as well as all of the wonderful people.


Starting last week, C-A has been announcing the Class of 2024 top ten ranked students. The students were asked where they will be going to college, what their future plans are, and what they will miss most about CA.
Number 10: Caleb McIlroy. Congratulations Caleb!
Caleb will be attending Hudson Valley for a year or two and then will transfer somewhere else after that. (Maybe somewhere in Massachusetts? Who knows!)
His future plans are to get a degree, have a career (most likely in environmental science) and start a family.
The thing he will miss most about CA is the group of friends he's had over the years and trying to dodge doing work in his favorite teacher’s classes ;)

Coxsackie-Athens campus is also hosting Relay for Life! A schedule of events is also posted. Be sure to head to the track to check out vendors, music, games and more!
It will be busy so please be mindful of parking and pedestrians as you arrive on campus!



On Thursday Coxsackie-Athens FFA Chapter attended Greenville's Agricultural Awareness Day. Our FFA members were in charge of educating the elementary school about dairy and beef cattle. We hope to host an event like this at CA in the future. Thank you for having us, Greenville!
